The new EU’s general data protection regulation—is your company ready?
Data protection laws are being enacted all over the world. Global employers must navigate these laws in terms employee as well as customer data. The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) going into full force on May 25, 2018 is leaving many global employers operating in Europe unaware and/or unprepared to comply with the new and expanded protection rules of the GDPR. The intent of this module is to help global HR practitioners navigate the European Union’s compliance requirements regarding employee data protection.
